Hey everyone!

I have been graciously given the opportunity to participate in this trip for the second year in a row and I will be taking a step up as I take on a role of increased leadership and planning in the months leading up to the trip.  I am so excited to open myself up to the direction that God is leading me to follow and to be His hand in this place once again.  

Our group intends to go into our experience with open hearts to serve and love and open minds to learn and share with everyone who we meet.  Last year was an experience that I will never forget.  Our groups state of constant praise is something that I pray remains at the forefront of our minds as we continue in our preparations for this mission.  

I know that God will allow me to encounter something that I have not experienced before and I pray for His wisdom, strength and faith as He puts me into uncomfortable circumstances. 

I do not intend to go to Guatemala to "fix" any problems but rather, to seek to understand the life that they live and how I can be of service to them in the moment, but also how to continue to be there for them, even when I am across the continent. 

I trust that God has put each of our group members on this trip because He has something meaningful, influential, and long-lasting in store for every one of us.  Thank you so much for considering supporting me financially.  I am thoroughly grateful for every thought, prayer, message and conversation as I prepare to take on this adventure.
